THOMAS F WHIPPLE
Thomas F Whipple was the son of pioneers who traveled across the plains to California in1854. He was born October 4, 1861 at Merrimac or Pea Vine on the Oroville Quincy Road. Whipple married Mary Agnes Fahey of Oroville and they had 2 children, Lois & Oscar. Thomas F Whipple was Deputy Field Assessor of Butte County for eighteen years while continuing to raise stock and farm in Wyandotte. He grew almonds and olives.
